ABC8 Entertainment is a production company that currently produces the television series Awkward, Octopus. It has been involved in the production of Atlantis Adventure! but has not produced the cancelled feature film An Awkward Movie! and the cancelled television series CheeseBob TrianglePants.
History[]
The following information is non-fanon. The events and Wikia users mentioned are real-world occurrences and individuals.
The first show, Awkward, Octopus, debuted on October 20, 2011 on the SpongeBob Fanon Wiki. The company was run by Mélodilous. ABC8 Entertainment was scheduling the feature film Awkward, Octopus: An Awkward Movie! though this idea was dropped soon after the topic surfaced on SpongeBob Fanon. Awkward, Octopus was unofficially cancelled in December 2011 after one season due to the departure of Mélodilous. On June 10, 2013, after over a year of no word from ABC8, The Krusty Krab Pizza Productions and Computer Productions began work on a second season of the show. One episode idea had been made. On February 9, 2014, the companies scheduled four more episodes of Octopus, including a quadruple-length TV movie. Later that year, creator Mélodilous confirmed the idea for the series' continuation. In Summer 2015, the film Atlantis Adventure! was scheduled to premiere on SpongeBob Fanon.
